Red Letter Roofing Taps BHG for Rebranding Campaign

After successfully operating his company for eight years as an affiliate of a major Southeast commercial roofing company, Steve Burns decided to relaunch Roof Control Services of N.C., Inc., as an independent business with a new name—Red Letter Roofing. Burns engaged The Bloodhound Group to create a new website and accompanying digital launch campaign for the rebranded company.

Based in Garner, N.C., Red Letter Roofing specializes in commercial roofing for projects of all sizes and types, from office buildings, warehouses and shopping centers to hotels and restaurants, among many others. The company has earned a reputation with property managers, developers and architects for high levels of customer service. More than 80 percent of business comes from repeat customers.

“We chose the name because ‘red letter’ means ‘memorable’ and ‘of special importance.’ That reflects our company’s values and how we feel about each client,” says Burns, who is president and CEO. “The Bloodhound Group took the time and care to understand our culture and commitment to our customers and created the right public-facing presence for our new brand identity.”

The renamed company will continue to partner with its former parent, Florida-based Roof Control Services, on specific projects. “While our names are different, our joint commitment to serving our clients remains. We promise our customers will continue to benefit from a culture built on care, commitment and communication—simply with a new look,” Burns adds.
